Our work outside work

Leaving a legacy is important to us. We focus on delivering tangible and lasting benefits for our clients. However for CAPBROWN it’s bigger than that. Which is why every year we spend time on projects in developing countries leaving legacies of improvement where the needs are greatest.

In 2011 we will be working on a project to bring a sustainable fresh water supply to a school in rural Kenya. We are working in partnership with another organisation sharing similar values, ‘Wellboring.org’ www.wellboring.org and together we plan to secure funding, source and deliver a 180 metre deep borehole. Providing a sustainable clean water supply for the school will transform the lives of the pupils and the local community.

Working in Africa has given us unique insights into what can be achieved with limited resources and that it is possible to innovate despite scarcity. These are all lessons that are now very relevant to organisations in the developed world.

Giving not only makes us feel good but it also increases our perspective and sharpens our insight.
